Here's a Cowboy shootout game (original template belongs to someone else). Divide students into two groups and whoever can name the country the fastest gets a point for their team.

This is my first upload yay. I hope you all like it.

It is a remake of the game: 4 Pictures, 1 Word. 

I plan to use this as the chapter review game. I am going to write all the countries on the board  in this manner (america    american), (mexican  mexico), etc.

When the students figure out the correct country, they should write the country's name using the key sentences from the chapter and using correct grammar.

So the correct answer would read something like this "Where are you from? I am (I'm) from America."

For the first few rounds, I will score the students hard. So if they don't use capital letters, question marks, or say american they will get no points. This is how I grade them when I play Sleeping Elephants, now even the lower level students know the difference lol.

The game comes with a built in clue on how many letters are in the correct answer but you could easily delete that if you don't want to give them a hint.

Also for Canada, I use the Korean letters: ㄱㄴㄷ because when you pronounce these letters in this order it reads Ca-na-da.

My students enjoy the chants and songs so for period 1 we will do a competition for the chant on page 11. Each team of 4 will have a half sheet of all the slides from the PPT. They will plan and prepare who will hold up with paper during each part and any sort of dance to go along with it. I will pick the best team. The last slide just has the lyrics for their reference when practicing.

I added a bit of explanation about the U.K. vs. England and a few other feelings rather than just "I'm okay, thanks."  Hope it's helpful!
