Rock paper scissors bingo:
Print the boards, laminate, cut in half. One board per student.
Students play in pairs.
Play rock paper scissors.
Winner chooses a block, reads the sentence and then crosses it off.
First person to get 4 rows (any direction) is the winner.

I haven't used it yet, but I plan to use it at the start of the reading lesson. There are expressions that aren't found in the textbook but I'm sure most students will be familiar with them.

Reading Game - Roll & Read.
Students play in teams.
Each team gets a turn to roll the dice and read the matching sentences(s). Some numbers have two sentences. Each sentence read = 1 point. The sentences are all based on the Let's Read part on page 108.

Click the clock to start the timer and click the sentence box to make it disappear once that number has been rolled and read.

I've seen this game concept many times before, usually with games that are no-tech.
I've basically taken the concept and put it in a ppt. It's pretty simple, not particularly aesthetically pleasing but most my classes had some fun.

A couple of PowerPoints I pulled from other books and changed to fit this chapter. Big thanks to the original creators.

Memory Matching Game:
Match sentences and pictures.
Click the center of the square to show the sentence/picture.
Click the "don't" sign to turn it over again.
One point for a matching picture and sentence.

I played with groups, it's a pretty quick game, max. 10mins.

Here is a worksheet for the vocabulary and phrases in the form of a book. The students translate the expressions and new words in to Korean with you guiding them through and co-teacher helping. Then guide students through reading the story and filling in the blanks on page 3 and 4. There is also a ppt emphasizing when to use they or it.
