I appreciate your opinion waygo0k and oatmeal as hopefully, you do mine. No sarcasm. Often times, arguments become excessively convoluted to the point where the topic of discussion is so far deviated. Conclusively, my opinion is mentally and emotionally, that the exchange between EXID and TMZ was innapropriate.Hey, i just said be seated. Foolish? Thats harsh.Do you weep after having sex?

Quote from: waygo0k on May 07, 2015, 08:55:01 amNobody here is condoning this behaviour. In fact, we're criticising both the Korean and western elements of it.The point many people here are trying to make is - Korea should not throw a hissy fit when it is on the receiving end of something it does so frequently, and often with glee. Not all Koreans agree with Korean media making fun of non-Koreans, the same way not all westerners agree with western media making fun of Koreans. Thanks for your reply, but a lot of these posts are lessening the extent of the situation. As I've mentioned before, what does EXID have to do with all the ignorance happening in Korean media? What do the two share in common? On one point, I agree with you. Koreans who enjoy the racism in Korean media should not throw a hissy fit when it comes to the EXID, TMZ coverage. Oatmealkooky, I felt when the Twin Towers went down in 2001. Should I have thought then too? All conspiracies aside, I suppose America deserved the tragedy because of the U.S government's often times, unnecessary activity in the Middle East? A huge comparison, but I don't understand your logic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWynJkN5HbQI can't explain how many times I've experienced this, in and out of Korea.

Your comparison is equivalent to me telling a random Korean I know how they feel about comfort women, because I had someone cut in front of me to get on the bus today and now we both feel wronged........ Yeah, isn't that stupid? I am sure what Oatmealkooky was trying to say is that we should always think and use our intelligence before reacting to something. Your trying and equate these two situations, even in an attempt to be absurd, is quite poor taste. As for how the EXID thing is related to Korean media please reread the quote you commented on from waygook. I mean, can't you admit that it is hypocrisy on the part of famous people to speak out against this tmz clip by claiming racism or what not, when they have never in the past ever called other Korean shows out on this issue?

Oatmealkooky gave me some advice to kick in my inner logos. My logic tells me that this coverage was racist. I thought about this for a while, before I decided to post in this thread. I do agree, the parallel I drew between 9/11 and TMZ was absurd, that was the point. I don't care what other Korean celebrities have to say about this. I'm speaking from my point of view. Calling out that EXID girl and the Asian-American, TMZ employee was uncalled for.
What a shitty life you live zola.
hell even as a gyopo, im currently dealing with a lot of racism cause of my "different" accent but that TMZ video was really F'ed up. You just cant say cause some koreans are racist that we should tolerate racism towards koreans. if that was the case we should tolerate racism towards black, hispanic and white people because many are racists to others, right?
The media has shamelessly mocked the First Lady's accent but it's racist when they do it to a kpop star?
She answered, hassle. He couldn't understand a word she said. Angry LOL
Imagine going into a situation thinking "I won't understand it."
