« on: May 22, 2015, 10:54:09 am »
I found this article on CNN and I thought of a coupe things.

#1 What in the world was this guy thinking?

#2 Thank goodness he didn't do anything with the kids, well, that we know of yet anyway.

#3 I am really glad this didn't happen in Korea or else we would have to put up with more regulations.

Teacher arrested, accused of letting students have sex in classroom

By Holly Yan and Tina Burnside, CNN

(CNN)An Atlanta-area teacher was arrested after a parent accused him of letting middle-school students have sex in his classroom.

Quinton Wright is charged with four misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said. He was booked into jail Tuesday and released after posting bond.

The mother who made the complaint said she discovered a disturbing text message on her 14-year-old son's phone.

"Basically he's allowing the students to have sex in a storage room of his classroom," the mother told CNN affiliate WSB.

"He told my son, 'You can have it from 7:30 to like 8:30,' " the mother said, reading some of the messages. " 'Did you tell the girl what's going to happen? That she cannot tell anybody?' -- basically don't tell anyone I'm allowing you to use my room."

Wright, 25, taught math at Champion Theme Middle School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, WSB said.

DeKalb County School District spokesman Quinn Hudson said Wright has been removed from the school, CNN affiliate WXIA reported. CNN was not able to reach the school district early Thursday morning.

Even before discovering the text messages, the mother said she was suspicious about the teacher.

"He called me when the kids are at their eighth-grade prom and asked if he could come over and take pictures with the boys before the prom," the mother told WSB. "I said no."

this seems more like a case of the teacher wanting to be "cool" than the teacher being creepy.

Or wanting to appear cool so that he could be covertly creepy.

Most creepy teachers in america these days are women, if you watch the news.

There was a huge cheating scandal in Atlanta a couple years ago too where many teachers and administrators were fired/disciplined.

That isn't true.  It's just being exposed more recently.  Pretty sure it's has been going on for a long time.

It's -ev to deal with some people.
