Here's a translate the sentence, a wordsearch and a sentence scavenger hunt for chapters 8 - 14 of the textbook.

This worked really well at the end of the first semester and should take them about two classes to complete.

Here's a Christmas themed review game that covers 8-13.
I didn't include any points because I'm going to play a White Elephant style game. Give a correct answer, take a gift box from under the tree. Next correct answer can steal the previous box or take a new one, etc. Goes until every person has a box. Inside the boxes will be paper that either gives them a candy or a punishment (pushups, writing, etc)

Kimchi Game - Elimination game
lesson 10-14
Like Baskin Robins 31  - Ss all stand. Each Ss  can speak 1 or 2 words. Ss says when they see a picture of kimchi. The person who is next is out. (sits down)

I cannot find "idea" or "check" in this wordsearch! It's driving me nuts!

Thank you Failed_States for the original post and materials!

Took the worksheets and made it into a Review Challenge (Lessons 8-14) with sticker reward incentives. PPT included. Print pages 2 up (2 on one sheet).
  • Challenge 1: Which page is it on?
  • Challenge 2: Write it in English.
  • Challenge 3: Word Search

I also could not find "idea" or "check" in the original Word Search so I changed it to "cheap" and "fun" and also added "model" to the list.

You can also just do the Word Search activity. It took most of the kids 30 minutes while helping each other.

These are too late for this year, but maybe they'll be useful at the end of the coming year.  Just a simple review ppt and a golden bell game.  Didn't get a chance to use them in class.

Massive thanks to reudibeat for the original powerpoint. I fixed some of the mistakes and added a point system; presents and lumps of coal, presents are points if they get the question correct and the coal are points that they can take away from another team. My students all seem to working against each other to win.
