My co-teacher decided to skip ahead, so hopefully this will help someone soon. ^_^
I'll upload further lessons as I go. My class is 32 3rd graders who honestly are pretty badly behaved, so these might work better with your class but also potentially run short. haha
Lesson 3-5.1
introduce "I'm getting tired of... " construction // review few guided examples // elicit (drag) examples out of students // introduce a-z game and have them play in groups of 6-8 (ish) // have them write a message to a friend they have a gripe with (you could easily add more sentences to their burden or have them write multiple messages) - if they say no one, I suggested they write to me about why they hate English class kkk // have them throw the messages as paper ariplanes to the front of the room (they so hype about this) and read several random ones, asking the class to guess who wrote it
*some of the kids got rude, but I just didn't read those ones. If I saw the rudeness while they were writing, I made them change it~ :/
