Visitors from UK
« on: December 22, 2015, 01:21:40 pm »
My parents are visiting me from the UK, to get into Korea your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months, my dad's runs out in 5 months and 27 days... Frustrating right?

Does anyone have experience with releatives/friends visiting SK (on vacation!) and having problems with temporary visas like the issue above?

I've got you fam.

Passport only needs to be valid for 3 months.

Might be worth considering you can renew your passport 9 months before it runs out and get the left over time added to your new passport. I did it before I came to Korea. So my current passport is valid for 10 years and 6 months.
