chase the vocab with text
« on: May 30, 2016, 09:54:52 PM »
I don't think I've seen anyone use chase the vocab template for reading - so I figured I'd drop one off here.  It should be noted that this is the original template posted by another waygook poster - I didn't modify the graphics or anything of that sort.

But yeah, the main idea is to target more language skills.
Furthermore, this game has now been made easy to edit - you no longer have to bring back/forth any pics/slides.  Just edit the text and you are good to go (as long as the text in the moving boxes slide matches the prior review slide - in other words, if you are changing 'what's this?' sentence in the example slide, be sure to change 'what's this' to the new sentence in the moving boxes slide).

Thanks for this. I couldn't find the original template for this game because the search function on the site is down due to high server load.  >:(: But this thread was on the first page of the games and templates forum. Yay

Plus I wanted to make a simple alphabet version of this game and using the "Find and replace" function on powerpoint I was able to make the game effortlessly in less than 5 minutes thanks to your text version.

No probs - keep in mind that due to waygook owner's incompetence, in order to search waygook you need to use google.  In other words, google 'waygook chase the vocab' and you'll find what you are looking for.
