Describing Things
« on: June 30, 2016, 01:37:56 PM »
Hi all,

Here is a lesson I did on describing things.

Presentation: First, hand out the worksheet. Students fill in as we go through the lesson.
Pretty straightforward.

Production: Students will work in groups and receive a "thing". They will have to describe it to the class and the other students will have to ask the four questions we learned about:

What color is it?
What shape is it?
What is it made of?
What is it used for?

More appropriate for grade twos/threes, but my grade ones did well with the lesson as well (they are a bit higher leveled).

Would recommend giving ten minutes for the game, so they can practice with at least two things.

Cheers,
D
