This a nice and simple video. Appropriate for beginner classes. I'm going to try using it for my 1st and 2nd grade after school class, to introduce simple weather vocabulary to them.

Fantastic link my k, 1, and 2 students will love this. I generally do weather every class and ask the class if it is snowy, windy, rainy, etc. outside. They get really into it and get up, go to the window, and look outside for each one telling me "yes" or "no." Thanks for the post

Help! With How are you video
« Reply #63 on: January 05, 2012, 12:35:35 pm »
Hey! Guys!

How are you feeling this day?                        Happy New Years!

Presently, I'm doing an English Camp solo.  A few weeks agok, I download  a video link of "How
Are You." But, now I cannot open my USB.  This "How Are You?" video is very unique, because it has this big fish singing how are you?, and it's sings "I'm hungry, etc. I have searched and searched various sites, but can't seem to find it." I'm wondering if anyone may know what's the link for this video! If you do, can you please post it for me.

Thanks much!

Divine

I've been meaning to tell you for a while how grateful I am for your resources! Out of all the various folks out there, including supersimplesongs and genkienglish, I've found your stuff the best suited to my students actual needs.... no extra confusing language cluttering things up! All of my students insist on singing the "how are you today" song every single day, and some of my kids STILL pretend they are chopping each other down while singing the christmas tree song. Nice catchy tunes with mesmerizing funny lyrics.... they love love LOVE them. Congrats, you're doing a great job!!

I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to marty for his Maple Leaf Learning channel.  I am tasked with a 2 period phonics class this semester.  Your channel will save me!

Here is the link for PHONICS RING CARDS by Maple Leaf Learning, for anyone in my situation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rYvA53zCrM&feature=related

I show 2 videos per class.  Since they are learning phonics along with vocabulary (5 words per video), I play the Phonics Fast Ball game afterwards to help them recognize sounds AND letters.

Thanks again!

Teaching greetings
« Reply #75 on: March 09, 2012, 10:48:06 pm »
Hello,

My kids were having troubles remembering all the different greetings, SO I made this song to practice with. It is a bit repetitive BUT that's what they needed. Make a different gesture for each greeting and sing a long :)
