This is a lesson I made for my all-male seniors. They like computer games and guns, so I figured a lesson on the Goldeneye remake for the Wii would be up their alley.
I transcribed an interview to the best of my ability and handed copies out to the students. Then they followed along as the clip played. Next I taught some vocabulary through a PowerPoint and replayed the video.
Then we played a game of my creation with an inherently misogynistic title called, "Grenades, Guns, and Girly Slaps." We reviewed the video again, and then they worked on the "Design a Gadget" exercise on the bottom of the sheet until the end of class.
