Sports from Around the World and Baseball Listening

This lesson is a 2 part lesson.  First it is a culture lesson on sports then it turns into a listening exercise based on baseball, with baseball expressions in language in there too.

This lesson is a mash up of other lessons found on Waygook, as well as taken from a textbook.

Sport from around the world -> Language and Culture -> Comic Strip -> Vocabulary -> Reading on baseball -> Comprehension -> Song gap-fill -> Sports commentator Listening -> Sports wordsearch

About how long does it take to cover all these materials?  Looks like several hours' worth of activities, but maybe my students are just unfocused compared to yours. :)

My students are a range of abilities, but most seem like intermediate or lower listening and speaking ability.  It's good looking lesson content, and I might be using some of it in an upcoming lesson!  Thank you.  :)

This lesson is a 2 part lesson, so 2 x 50min.  There are plenty of exercises that I crammed in but this is good to teach students to answer quickly and move on.  It's a skill they need to learn to be able to complete their exam papers in any case.

Oh, gosh... *facepalm* You clearly said that in your description.  I'm sorry for making you repeat yourself!  Anyway, thanks for the clarification, and again for the materials. ^_^ At least it's Friday and I can go home soon, heh.  ;)
