This is a lesson that I used to help my students with pronouncing R and L. I spent about 15 minutes explaining different aspects of American hip-hop and rap. Then, we had a rap competition with the real slim shady. I brought guys up in groups of 4-5 and they each tried rapping. You probably only want to use with your advanced students. They had a blast and got really into it. Had lots of fun. When describing rap, I also showed a few clean clips of rap videos in order to get their interest.
