Using pictures

Using this picture you can teach the following:

There is/ There are
There was/ There were
(divide the class in half- half of the students can see the picture and then describe it to the other half)

I found it to  be a very stimulating picture to use.

Thanks for sharing....I think that I can use this when I teach my describing lesson. you have half of the class describe to the other half, but the other half has to draw it to see if they match up.  I find it to be helpful for the students to practice describing things and they find it to be very fun lesson as well.

Lovely stuff!
I actually saw the other foreign teacher in our school using another one of these VW ads in his class (the Dali-inspired one) last week and it reminded me of this one I used. The surrealists are great to use!
