This Is Why I'm Broke Price Game - Ready to go
« on: April 10, 2012, 10:15:27 am »
I have an issue with making games too complicated, but I work at a low-level high school and they can do this.  Requires 15 minutes familiarity with the ppt.

This has 2 games:  Higher/Lower and Guess the price.  For higher/lower just say, "Who thinks it's higher/lower?"  After explaining how to verbally express numbers in English, write their guesses up on the board.  Closest but not over wins.

This is similar to an existing price game, but uses more interesting products from http://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/

Additionally, you can use my dice wheel if you ever want a dice roller in a game, as well as the calculator function.

Don't bother to download if you can't use pptx.  Macros need to be enabled for the in-game calculator.

Sorry, I forgot to say that it talks about some major world currencies, too.   I originally had 10 world currencies, but it was too difficult for them.

Hahaha... ALSO:  Credit to PianoMan2 for the original format:  http://waygook.org/index.php/topic,33551.0.html

I elected not to use Gmarket because I've tried some items from Gmarket before and there are some suspiciously accurate answers (they're obviously looking it up on their phones).
