Taekwondo site
« on: November 08, 2007, 02:31:17 pm »
Hey all those martial art enthusiasts;

 I've been practicing Taekwondo for a while now and I've never been the best with poomsae (forms).   I now use this website-  taekwondobible.com to help me out.  Click on training, then poomsae and you can watch all the forms and see diagrams of them.  Helps me a lot.

Cheers

Anyone looking for a good Taekwondo school in Seoul should check out 'The Way Martial Arts' website.
They offer ITF Taekwondo for adults and MMA too :D

I'm actually interested in taking Taekwondo classes.
Do they have many options for adult beginners? lol

Is there a place where you can learn taekwondo with other adults instead of just children?

although there are TONS of tkd schools here (for obvious reasons lol) tournaments RARELY happen. When i trained in the states we had about 12 tournaments a year including AAU tournaments but that was ITF style, here in korean WTF just basically trains a lot

Most Taekwondo Gyms (in this area) cost around 80,000~100,000 won per month w/ training Monday through Friday. There are several gyms in Seoul that give instructions in english and to adults.

I have been to many times when I visit Seoul.
Hanwoori Taekwondo(Seoul) http://www.facebook.com/hanwooritaekwondo
"If anyone is interested I have a friend in Shinchon that owns a school specifically targeted for international citizens."
There are some others depending on where you are.  ^^
As an Assistant Teacher at a Taekwondo Gym, we go to tournaments quite often depending on what the students (children or adults) want to do.
Some of the tournaments are small and local while others encompass a larger area and numbers of people.
