Jobs!
Haha OP where's the pic of this letter?? Think you forgot to attach it Also, nice humble brag
Just received what may be the most passive-aggressive note I've ever been given...well I say given it was actually stuck to my door for all the residents of my apartment vill to see!So basically, my girlfriend and I were doing the business (plus bear in mind this was actually our first night together at mine), and halfway through we hear a loud couple of bangs which we couldn't actually decipher whether it was from upstairs or downstairs, anyway needless to say we toned it down a bit (actually tbh we weren't really being THAT loud). Anyway, the morning after I found this note (pictured) stuck to my door. Now my girlfriend is Korean and translated for me (although it was quite clear from her reaction of "OMG, OMG, OMG" that I more or less guessed correctly the gist of the note) anyway the main point being that they have threatened to call my landlord/the police is this occurs again, citing that anything over 35 decibels is worthy enough to report. The thing is I have no idea who the note is from, neither do I think they know I'm a foreigner. The note is written entirely in Korean, plus to be honest (and my girlfriend agrees here) it was my girlfriend who was emanating the most...um...noise!Though judging by the handwriting my gf thinks it is most probably a young girl.So I was wondering what people think of this? Do you really think it is in their right to post a fairly passive-aggressive note on my door, warning us that if it happens again they will report? Compared to the sounds I hear other neighbors make, we weren't doing anything that wrong. I've been here over a year in the same palce, and I'm always as quiet as a church mouse! If there are any people here who can translate Korean, please could you give an opinion on the nature of the comment.

If your girlfriend was moaning, she doesn't need to. Do the business without grunting; I've done that way with no problems. A couple of exes did this fake moaning. Not sure what that was all about. Others didn't. Anyhow, the world doesn't need to know what's going on.
In on subtle brag thread. These overpriced apartments are mostly pieces of shit that are constructed in the fastest way possible. Thus, any soundproofing is not a priority of builders bc of costs. Profit margin is king. So I can hear when my neighbor farts. The worse is their morning piss. Feels like it's gonna land on my head or something. Domestic violence is another pet peeve I have to put up with as well. Women shrieking like there being skinned alive. Not sure if it's serious, or they just watch too many Korean dramas. Nonetheless, everyone living in apartments puts up with this BS and there is nothing that can be done. Cops ain't gonna do crap... Unless they find out you're a foreigner banging the pure women of the han. You're most likely to get evicted immediately. I would muffle her with a pillow.
I remember a few places back, I was waking up one Saturday morning and doing a morning read in bed when I hear the sounds of passion coming from the next room. Sounded young and cute enough. Wonder what she looks like? A few days later I find out.Ajumma.
