Actually, I guess they weren't that noisy, just the walls were extremely thin. I could hear fights, DV, makeup sex, coughing, spitting, every single phone call. On my side of the wall, those sounds were probably around 35db. It still drove me absolutely insane. People are saying how it's similar to someone whispering. So, how would you feel if you're trying to read a book, relax or sleep and someone is just standing next to you whispering nonsense for hours on end? It is annoying af.I do think the OP should be a bit more considerate next time, but maybe that's because I almost murdered someone last year due to being able to hear them 24/7."Please sit still in your home, completely motionless and silent."

Oh man, It's times like this I wish I wasn't a virgin. Nice one mate. Just turn the vacuum on instead that seems acceptable at 7 in the morning 7 days a week for my neighbours.

I wear a huge noise cancelling headset when I use my computer for example. Can't hear a thing around me.
I remember a few places back, I was waking up one Saturday morning and doing a morning read in bed when I hear the sounds of passion coming from the next room. Sounded young and cute enough. Wonder what she looks like? A few days later I find out.Ajumma.
I used to live in a small dinky place in a university town and most weekends I would hear the classic sound of springs going up and down and muffled female moans from my neighbours place. One morning I saw a girl leaving the apt, looking pretty hungover, as I was coming back from putting the trash out. The next week, I saw a different girl leaving, again, after a night of passionate sounds. So I figured my neighbour was a university student playboy. Then I saw my neighbor leaving for either class or a part time job at the same time as I left for work on a weekday morning. It was a chick.
It's hard for me to imagine how someone can sleep with headphones or earmuffs on. Those are both pretty bulky and would limit your movement while sleeping. I have a long term issue with my ears due to ear infections as a child and if I even lay with one ear on the pillow for too long it can cause me extreme discomfort and some pain. Ear plugs also cause me pain and discomfort if used for an extended period of time.
