2018 Grad 3 Daekyo Lesson 1: Hello, I'm Jinu
« on: March 11, 2018, 09:35:46 PM »
Sorry If there is already a thread for this lesson, point me to it and I will post there instead.

Here is a quick game for Students to learn the names of the characters in the Daekyo books. This is basically one of the suggested games in the teacher's manual but made into a PPT instead of cards. Students Get to see a character for a bit (fade in fade out getting a little faster by the end), then I will say "Hi/Hello, this is _____." Sometimes I will use the right name and sometimes I won't. They have to make an X or an O with their hands. Wrong answers have to sit down (you can leave that out if you want to just practice names or give points to groups or something).

Edited to add:
We played hot potato with two groups. When the music stops, they have to say hi to each other (the game is explained in Korean on the CD)

I am also I am adding the vocab PPTs that I made for this lesson. One is to introduce the vocab, and the other is two vocab words on one blank white sheet to print out and use in a game. You could play many games, but I think I will split them into three teams and say "Give me ____." and whichever team gets me that card first wins a point.
When I make more PPT's for this lesson I'll continue to post them here. (unless this Microsft ban really goes into effect... maybe that is just my province though.)

There is a thread for this book, but it hasn't opened yet. I messaged the moderator about it, so hopefully it will open soon.

Here it is:

There is also one for the 4th grade book, but it also hasn't opened yet. Keep checking!!

Yeah, I say that, but there were no links to the actual book chapters so I posted this. That seemed to just be a list of all the books 3rd grad is using this year
