I usually watch semi educational news or mini documentaries.  Occasionally an amateur video show casing daily life in some random country around the world.  IE  Russia or elsewhere.

I also watch some stuff over on rumble because YouTube's increasing authoritarianism and illiberal policies on expression and free speech are beyond ridiculous. 




Daily life stuff as long as it's not folks living a fake life trying to be influencer. 


I read stuff too.  But increasingly content gets put onto YouTube and other Video sites.  I have to have lots of knowledge crammed into my head if I'm going to discuss or argue with the likes of you all......

think i mightve posted this here before(?) anyways, still a favorite of mine.

Man, there's a YT channel called JCS about Criminal psychology and it's basically police interviews with "famous" murderers. It's super interesting but HOLY HELL, SHUT UP.

I'm glad they're talking, it makes it easier to convict them, but JESUS.

SHUT UP. The human will and desire to "please" the police is so strong. SHUT UP. They waive their rights to legal counsel. "Oh yeah, now I look trustworthy."

I've really enjoyed this guy's channel over the covid period.  Not only does he go to all these former countries of the Soviet Union, but when he gets to them he often gets out out of their big cities and randomly goes to these far flung towns and places of interest out in the sticks.  Goes to some fascinating, if not always beautiful, places.

It's abotu half an hour long but it's paced well, is interesting, eotional and timely all at once.

Yeah, I watched that on  Australian TV last Tuesday night. I thought about posting it here but suspected Marti might have had an issue with it. Interesting how some highly qualified and articulate guys returning from the states have to do this kind of work because its all they can get. It puts hangooks rants about E2 wages into some perspective.
