Rent a car. Have someone you know pick you up. Pay for a driver. Are there no buses? Take the train into Seoul and catch a bus there. Take a disease taxi into Seoul and catch a bus there. I swear I still see buses operating between Seoul and other places.I mean like are you that helpless in real life that you need to ask the morons on here what to do? Just f-ing walk in that case
I live on the east coast and just got back via Incheon yesterday. Everything felt very ad-hoc. After you de-plane you go through a few checkpoints where they check your PCR test doc and vaccination status and then you pass through immigration like normal. No one asked to see my re-entry permit though maybe immigration could see it when they pulled up my info. After getting your luggage if you live somewhere that's not Seoul you can take the KTX from Gwangmyeong station after taking a bus from the airport at exit 8. It seemed like there was supposed to be some designated bus/train ticket booth for recent international arrivals at Incheon and Gwangmyeong but I couldn't find them so I just bought tickets as usual and no one seemed to give a shit. After getting home the local gu Health Center called and told me to go for a covid test by noon today and then to stay home for 10 days. Seems like you're supposed to download an app for home quarantine but no one told me anything about it and I tried downloading and setting it up myself but either I'm doing something wrong or it's not working properly so I gave up. Maybe I'll get deported.Currently at home day drinking beer
For me it's a 30min. subway ride home from the airport. It'sgreat when you just get off a long flight.
sometimes wish I lived in Seoul/Incheon/Gyeonggi but other days I'm good....
thanks thats what I was looking for....whether public transportation was allowed for international arrivals.....could change by the time I'm coming back but trying to plan ahead and have plan A and B if needed........also heard buses to the airport from even gyeonngi were few and far between but its good to know its available to gwangmyeong.......
They will show you how to set up the app at the hospital when you go for your test. You have to self-report every day for a week, maybe longer.
hmm maybe they will, maybe they won't!
More convenient there for sure. If they didn't pay such trash, I would have got up there long ago. They should give an extra day or two holiday for the vacation out in the provinces due to the hassle of travel. Always have to hit the Best Western once I land for some zzz's.
