My students absolutely love this game and it's been changing the environment all for the better at my school.

I have one question, it's about the scoreboard for the Pokemon game...when I tried to resave the ppt file as a different name because of questions I made for a lower level class, the scoreboard that Daejeon created disappeared.

I can't figure out how to include it back in...so I've just been writing the scores on the board. If the scoreboard is lost, is there a way to add it back into the powerpoint file?

Copy paste the scoreboard slide from a working game.

I can't find the Batman game in PPTX. Does anyone know where I can find the download link?

Are these games mostly used for reviews or pop culture? I was thinking they are used for both. I don't really know much about Korean pop culture but I am willing to learn.

Ahah.  I don't have any time to make a new bomb game right now.  I may in the future.

As far as how to make bomb games.  I basically amass a pool of high resolution images for a certain theme.  Then I try to decide how students will earn points, special events, etc.  Then I'll edit the images in Photoshop to fit a particular slide, throw in some sound effects, and compile the ppt slides.  It takes a long time and it's not as fun as it looks to make.  I've started working on a thorough "how-to" guide but there are so many bases to cover that it's difficult to make.

I've always used them for the purpose of review.  Your students may already know more about Pokemon, Spongebob, Doraemon, Yu-Gi-Oh than you.  Batman is the only one they probably won't know much about.

     They absolutely know more about those games than I do. I think I will use these games for a combination of review and musical pop culture. I'll check out the Pororo one. My son is 1 year 6 months old, he loves Pororo. Hopefully this will help him to speak some English, he is learning Korean and I'm teaching/living 2 and a 1/2 hours away :( I only see him on the weekends. The Pokemon V2 game has some bugs in it. I just downloaded it a few days ago. Whenever the Mewtwo or Team Plasma slides are played the alphabetic pokemon balls slide resets. I don't know if this is being cause because of the scoreboard, or not. The other slides which don't involve mystery balls seem to work fine. I haven't had time to test it thoroughly to find the exact problem. Also, the score board doesn't work well when you have to change points between teams if the teams are different levels. I want to use this game for my class, but a bug where the main slide with the history of what's been chosen resets is a deal breaking bug. Can you please fix this or tell me how to fix it?

I'm willing to guess that you are using the 2010 version of PowerPoint. A lot of bomb games have the resetting issue in that version of the software, it probably works fine in 2007. It seems to happen most when the bomb games have sub options, like click the letter to the question then instead of just getting points choose one of three options. I found they can reset a lot under those conditions. I'm not sure if there is a particular fix other than using simpler bomb games in 2010.

Yes. I'm using PowerPoint 2010. I removed the scoreboard and that seemed to fix all the problems.
