Here is a .ppt for the Country flags in the lesson with a few extras for my area and state. Feel free to put in your province or state flag instead of mine.

Here's a PPT I will use.
Includes: Animaniacs countries clip (embedded), and a hidden flag game.
You'll have to edit slide 4 for yourself unless you want to include me in your lesson  :D

For hidden game, countries are: France, Korea, USA, China, U.K., Japan, Australia, Canada, Ireland, South Africa

For this lesson, I divided the class into teams. Before class I had printed the different flags and cut them out to make smaller cards. I then made two piles of cards that I put on the desk at the end of the class (each pile has all the flags).

The students then will ask me "Where are you from?". I will answer and then one student from each team needs to get the flag from that country. The first team to get the right flag gets a point and then the team with the most points wins at the end.

The students take turns to try and find the flag, when they are finished they go to the back of the line and then it is the next student's turn. I also use the winning student to then answer the other students "where are you from?" question. The winning student will reply "I'm from *country name*".

my lesson is called "I'm from Brazil"? Is this the same lesson? I have done a basic plan but have very few games. These help a lot! Thanks

No I believe that's from the other Cheonjae book by Frances Sohn. Some of the lessons are similar though (such as this one) so we can use each others materials.

This is not my PPT..I tweaked it for this book (thanks a bunch to the OP). Most kids already know how to say. I am from Korea...but I wanted to practice. I am Korean..or I am Canadian..etc. I also have a game which I will be posting sometime early next week

I quick note for those that plan to use this PPT - the flag listed for England is the St. George cross version (the one used in the 1100s).  As it also represents England alone (no Ireland, etc), I'm guessing the original creator chose the St. George version to make a political statement :)  Could be wrong...
