Anyone mind uploading the girl's generation bomb game somewhere else?  I can't seem to get it here because there is no resume function and the connection is constantly getting closed.  I even tried a download manager to deal with it, but that didn't get more than .5 megabytes.

I can't get a good portion of these to work on 2 separate installations of Power Point on 2 separate computers.  I get this error on one of them;  This is my w7 laptop with the latest version of PPT

The selected file does not appear to be a valid Microsoft PowerPoint file. It might be a file created by a different program.
Try double-clicking the file in Windows Explorer to see if another program will open it. If PowerPoint opens again when you double-click the file in Windows Explorer, it is possible that the file is not a PowerPoint file but that its extension was renamed to be that of a registered PowerPoint file type (such as .ppt, .pptx, .pps, .ppsx, .pptx, .pot, or .potx) but the file is not a PowerPoint file.
To determine which program can open the file, try any of the following:
Contact the original author (if known) to find out which program was used to create this file. Then rename the file with the correct extension so that it can be opened by that program.
Try opening the file in other programs.
If you, or someone you know, are very knowledgeable about software, examine the file header in a text editor to determine which program can read the file.
Another possibility is that the file was damaged during transfer from another computer. Try transferring the file again.
The file might have become corrupted. If you have a backup copy of the file, use it. It is not possible repair a corrupted file.

And the other one says;  This is my office computer with Korean Windows XP installed.
PowerPoint can't read the outline from ...... No text converter is installed for this file type.

Could someone help me?

Yeah there is definitely a problem on Waygooks end here.  I had my friend DL a few of these and none of them worked on his machine.  *.ppt files get corrupted easily.  This can be avoided by zipping them.

I don't think the files have been corrupted, I think the server is cutting the connection prematurely and so you only get part of the file.  You can confirm this by checking the file size against what it says here, next to the download link.

Has waygook.org changed its file size regulations?  That would explain the problem, maybe.  Regardless, I could really use the girls generation ppt file if anyone would mind taking the time to email it to me, my email is boring him berg at glen mail, com.

Yes, Charlie Sheen is on a drug...it's called Rufus, and his head just blew up.    Dear moderators, please put a counter on the top of a the main page showing the number of downloads from this post.  Make sure all involved know how much praise they really deserve.

How did you get the PPT to open - I would like to use one of these for next week's lesson. It looks like an amazing resource.
Thanks,
Amy

Thank you Rufus!  So far, I have tried the typhoon game and the mario game.  My middle school students absolutely love them, and I would never have been able to create such graphically beautiful, functional games on ppt by myself.  You are skilled and kind to share them!

I really appreciate it :)

Oh, and Amy - the reason you can't download the ppts might be because you don't yet have access to them.  There is a news post up about waygook no longer allowing access to materials to anyone who has made less than 5 posts of their own.

I spent a long time making this game! I would love if I could get constructive feedback on my game! I'm a hard core Nightmare before Christmas fan so I decided to make it a game. I put in sound effects and some awesome images which I snap shot from a blue ray DVD. I am quit proud of it but I still want to improve it. For instance in the millionaire game, when a player gets the right answer the music continues right on until you click on the next question. I'd like the music at the start of my game to keep playing even when you click on to the next slide!

The template is not empty because I wanted the community to see it played in action with the phrases and images etc etc.

Oh and you have to install the 'Nightmare before Christmas' font, I am attaching it for convenience.

Please get back to me!

~An appreciative Waygooker.

Waygook's new rule of five posts has reminded me of my manners, which have been seriously lacking these past few months  :-[, I get so annoyed when my students never thank me, and here I am using your games without a single word of appreciation. . .

So thank you so much! I have the PowerPoint skills of a small child, so I am grateful for the resources that can be found here. Especially for the Mario game, my kids absolutely adore it, and it is a fun way to review what we have been doing, I think sometimes they don't even know they are learning.
