After many requests from Waygook users, and businesses interested in advertising on waygook, we have made the feature available to anyone with a Waygook account.  You can now buy ad space.

We currently have 4 types of Banner AD packages, they are all for the top stop of the page, where you see the first banner shown. 

The banners cycle between a limited number of active banners, to avoid cluttering the site with too many advertisements.  It is more likely that someone will pay attention to your ad if it is well presented, and not mixed in a mashup of other ads.   That being said, Waygook does typically see an average of 5million+ hits a month with a very active user base.

For a low price you can help support the site, while benefiting as well from a deal equitable to teachers and small businesses.

You can find more information about the different AD packages by clicking "Advertise" at the top  right side of the homepage, but briefly put currently the packages are:

50$  for a 1 month (unlimited impressions/clicks) banner placement.

125$ for 3 month (unlimited impressions/clicks) banner placement.

225$ for a 6 month (unlimited impressions/clicks) banner placement.

350$ for a 1 year (unlimited impressions/clicks) banner placement.

AD placements are limited, so if you do not see the option to purchase any, it is because they are sold.  We wish to keep it limited in order to provide a quality of service to the supporters who buy ad space.

ADs can be modified at any point during the subscription period, however they must be approved before they show up again.  The approval is usually expedient, but we ask that you give it up to 24hours to get processed. 

Regarding Questions/suggestions:   You may post questions/suggestions regarding the ads here,  but to keep the thread clean and concise, any repeat questions/suggestions will be removed.

Hi, I've just paid for and uploaded an ad.

However the redirect link when I click the ad goes to http://www.waygook.org/www.dprk.youngpioneertours.com rather than directly to www.youngpioneertou rs.com (Which is what I put in for the Banner Website Destination).

Can you help correct this?

Could you consider making it obligatory to include salary information in all job ads? It is certainly important, and it would help a lot of applicants avoid unnecessary difficulty. It is not reasonable for potential employers to demand paperwork, documents, interviews and other drains on applicants' time without at least being up-front and honest about compensation.
