The introduction PPT for lesson 6.

Hi. Do you by any chance have the pdf file for the teacher's guide?

Go fish game for period 2. I like the phrase someone used here before that this game is a "labor of love" for my kids. It certainly takes time to prepare the enormous amount of cards, but really it's perfect for this lesson.

The dialogue goes like this:
    A: Is this your [      ]?
B: Yes, it's mine. (Give card to A)
                    OR
B: No, it's not mine. (No matching item card. A chooses from pick-up pile.)

I copied and pasted the slides enough so that there's 40 cards for 6 groups. That's 10 items with 4 of each. I used items that aren't in the lesson because my students know them from the previous lesson.

Also, please note that I didn't have the book in front of me when I made these cards. I had to go on what previous posters used for their intro vocab. If I'm missing something, please feel free to change/add whatever you want.

I hope it's helpful for someone! Cheers!

Edit: I added a really quick ppt to explain Go Fish. I found this on waygook somewhere...I dont remember where. Then I modified it to fit this lesson. But thank you to the original poster!

Here is a Show Time PPT. I do listen and repeat for Practice 1 and then Practice 2 and 3 I let the class do as a whole. In groups they practice the dialogue and then each group present their skit in turns. Hope this helps

I edited the Pirates Bomb Game (by user angel_kaye13)  for this lesson!
This is a really good game to get the kids to practice speaking the new sentences.

I did not make either of these came templates, but I adapted them for this lesson. My co-teacher loves bomb games, so I hope that you all get some enjoyment from these.

Zombie Game: students select their flower by creating a question sentence with posessive pronouns and common objects. (Is this his pencil? ... Is this my eraser? ... etc.) It will require some before-game practice using the pronouns and explaining them since that's not part of the lesson.

Madagascar Game: Just your standard bomb game w/ a Madagascar theme.

Took the flashcards posted above and added two more cards ("I don't know" and "black"). Big thanks to the original poster! Printed out all 8 pages on one paper and made copies for a memory game, which my kids love any excuse to play.

I will also use these cards for a Heads Up (Seven Up) game using the key expressions and to practice the vocabulary. This game always goes over exceptionally well with my kids.

Found these in the YBM Grade 4, Lesson 3 thread. Many thanks to the original uploaders. I think these will work well in conjunction with the Plants vs. Zombies game during my afterschool classes.

4-6-1 ppt and Rock Paper Scissors pair game.

Thanks to the original posters. It's reformatted, combined, and made from some of my own materials.

Hope it helps.

PPT to explain the Heads up, Seven Up or Heads Down, Thumbs Up game. It always goes well with my kids too. ^^

Use flashcards or printed pictures of the vocabulary objects (bag, cap, shirt, etc.)

My adoption of the Zombie Game (not my original PPT) for my bomb-game-loving co-teacher.

4-6-2 ppt with Board Game and Color Bingo attached.

My Co-T had the Board Game template and Color Bingo game. I just changed the pictures and key expressions for the board game. Thanks to whomever made the originals.

Here is an intro ppt. with vocab and key expressions.
I'm going to have my classes focus on spelling this chapter, so I wanted to have everything laid out nicely.

Also, I thought this was cute for a motivator.

With regards to possesive expressions in this unit (e.g. It's mine), I have here an episode of the 1970's sitcom Sanford and Son where the two characters Mr. Sanford and Grady fight over the TV set saying "It's Mine." You can show this to your students from 7:52-8:48.

Thanks to mvmogensen for the Heads Up Template this lesson. I made a few changes to make it more simple for lower level students to understand. I also added printable cards at the end of the ppt.
