I was very tempted to begin this program, but the only catch is that the courses are offered synchronously, which means you have to be in front of the computer for an hour every week at a certain time, specifically around 8pm CST Monday. The only problem of course is that this means it is Tuesday morning Korean time here, when many of us are teaching.
Ed.D American College of Education

I just learned about this program. American College of Education (ACE) is a relatively new university, but it is regionally accredited (the gold standard of education). They offer many master's degrees in education, including ESL, as well as Ed.S and Ed.D programs. The Ed.D program is in Leadership, with about seven concentrations available, including online, adult, and international education. It takes about 3 years to complete plus dissertation. The great thing about this program is that it is offered asynchronously, which means you don't have to be in front of the computer at a certain time.
