I understand that it may be difficult to do an all wet food diet (and expensive) but try to feed as little dry as you can, yes your cat loves it but it's for the same reason why McDonald's is so popular, everyone loves crap food.  For a good quality dry food I suggest Natural Balance or Orijen, both of which are grain free and high in protein.  Since one of my cats has a seafood allergy they eat Natural Balance L.I.D. (turkey and pea) and he also has a UTI problem so I give him as much wet food as he'll eat.

Right now for dry I'm cycling between Wellness Core,  Blue Buffalo Wilderness,  and Natural Instinct, so I'm not worried about quality dry foods. If I could find a feeder that could keep wet foods safely I'd use that and feed wet completely. Luckily, kitty is a big water drinker and hasn't had any issues, but I don't want to tempt fate. I didn't even think about gmarket for cat food! I'm not too confident in my ability to regularly make my own cat food (I don't even cook for myself every day) so I will check it out! Thanks!
ETA: got Nature's Variety Instinct cans-24 3oz cans for about 40000. Not too bad at all! I feel like a chump for not looking there sooner.

I throw my unfinished meals out the window for our neighborhood cat. It really likes to eat it.
