I made it for We are the world!

I did the voiceover/dubbing lesson with both the doctor lesson and food lesson last year (old book, Do you want some more?) so definitely will do this again with the grade 5. My silent videos are Dragonball Z -Goku eating noodles and I've got that chocolate cake scene from Matilda. Kids loved it. This is just a simple Food shaped template for the kids to write their own scripts in - a nice change, and displaying in the class is always fun for kids to see: http://mrsbaiasclassroom.blogspot.kr/2014/05/topic-food-glorious-food-project-idea.html

Other ideas - Restaurant role play! and designing their own menus! Very fun class, you can do it in groups and have one student be the waiter and then maybe get them to present a few - also, I plan to have my students design their menu's for homework (stick in English notebooks) then when they come to the next class they swap menus with their pairs and act out a small waiter/customer role play again... nice to review and fun for the kids. Role play time. I used most of the dialogue and story from page 104 this time. I switched it up a bit though so there's more of a plot... A bird trying to fatten up a caterpillar to eat, but the caterpillar turns into a butterfly and flies away.
