Just want to say thanks for all the awesome ideas for lessons in this book. I don't like the book at all and think that it is confusing and just not interesting. I have wanted to throw it out the window many times. Thanks so much for all the great ideas.

Yeah thanks to all the posters great stuff........ ;)

Does anyone else hate this book?
I've just looked at the language I'm supposed to teach for Lesson 4 2&3 grade "don't forget to"   "what makes you say so?" This is seriously useless rubbish!

My students were doing exams last week, so I did a review game with them. The review game covers the first 3 chapters. It worked really well, hope you enjoy it. I just adapted a bomb game, so thank you to whoever made the original template! :)

Please do not post your reviews here! There is a special section for each grade level on the first page.

I always take lessons off this site (Thanks so much), so I feel like I should finally give back. I teach the listen and Talk section of the book, so I usually have a fill in the blank diaglogue with an activity/game at the second half of class. Here are my ws for 1st grade:

Seriously guys...  >:( don't put your lesson stuff here.  Put it in the correct place for each lesson or lesson reviews. You're just giving me extra work to do right now when I barely have time to breathe let alone move your files. If you don't move them, I will put them into the review folders.

I'm hoping this may help people who are in a similar situation as me.

The CD version of the textbook suddenly stopped working for me, but I'm still able to do dialogue from the book because the link below contains scripts from the book that you can re-enact.  I've noticed my kids tend to zone out when I play them the dialogue from the CD, so me doing both the male and female speaking parts helped to make things interesting.

To access, go here: http://textbook.doosandonga.com/intro/contribution.jsp
Next, at the top of the page, go to the fourth tab labeled "교과서 자료실" and click on "중학교."  One of the options should be "영어 (김성곤);" from there, you can access scripts for whichever grades you need.

I hope this helps!

Has anyone been able to find an easy way to access the websites for the Grade 1 and Grade 3 textbook? Someone posted the direct link for the Grade 2 textbook website before. http://textbook.doosandonga.com/update/mid_enkim2/ETBookBase.htm

My co-teachers still haven't helped me log on to the primary site (after repeatedly asking) and don't have access to the CD/DVD. Magically, they say the books were already loaded on their laptops.

It doesn't work on my mac, but it works with windows =)

I came across this website for the book, but I'm having trouble finding the links for G1 and G3's textbook. I have the CD's but the program won't run on my computer. Does anybody have the links for the G1 and G3 textbook?

Okay, so from the website at the top of the page, it is the main website.  There is a blue circle with a book on it in the middle of the homepage that says 새로나온 교과서 보기.  Click on that icon and it will bring you to the main elementary page.  To go to the middle school level page, under the heading 'Text Book' click on the icon for 중학교 교과서.  On that first page, you will see the 1st grade leveled curriculum, including our book.  To change to a different grade, go to the tool bar in the middle of the page and click on either 2학년 or 3학년. In order to use the functions by each book, you must log in, which can be found on the main page. I've tried to navigate my way through signing up and logging in but I can't figure it out.  When I tried to put in my ARC number, it said something unrecognizable in Korean and sent me back to the login screen.  May be worth looking at with a co-teacher to see what all is available. Then you may be able to access the other programs like the one you have the link for.

Did you get a DVD of this? My co-teachers just got their's in yesterday for the third grade book, but last year they just loaded it onto my computer and saved it so I didn't need their DVD everyday.  If you see your co-teacher with it on her computer, have her bring in the CD/DVD set for you.  Until then, I'll see if I can get the files for mine to save on here. No guarantees though~ right now just in trying, I can't because the file types are different and they're way to big with this program.

I followed your directions but the only thing I get is a cyber book where I can flip through the pages but I can't do anything interactive. I found this link on this forum: http://textbook.doosandonga.com/update/mid_enkim2/ETBookBase.htm
but it's only for G2. I'm looking for the same links for G1 and G3.

I'm having the same problem, I have the link for G2, but need G1 and G3. Did you ever get the links?

Here's the link to the index of the Grade 3 book.  Don't have Grade 1 though.

Doesn't work on my mac either, which is annoying because the G2 link works. I have Windows on my Mac also so I'll try it on that. Thanks!

Does any one know of a collection or list of all the grammar points I coould have.

I want the kids to improve their writting so I want them to use the gramme. I really want to give the a list they can put beside them when they write.

Any help at all would be great!
