Here is a Word Grab Game for Grade 2, Chapter 1, for goals. It's very simple, yet effective.
WGG works as follows:
Print out the answers (there are a couple of red-herrings in there too)
Stick them on the board.
Get the kids into teams (4 usually works best for me).
Get a runner from each team (A different runner for each question). The runner must go and stand at the back of the classroom.
Then put up the slide pertaining to the answer. If they can guess what the answer is, then they need to run up to the board and grab the answer off of it. The first runner to get the correct answer gets a point for the team. Wrong answer is -1 point.
In this specific game, I use a picture reveal slide.

A PPT with a game at the end for Grade 1, Chapter 2, Think and Write.
I got the idea for this clock game from another waegookin whose name I can no longer remember and hence, am unable to give credit to.
I find the game works best if you use easy times at first to get their confidence up and then when you have got them going, start using stuff like "quarter past" and quarter to". Those are great.

Here is a bomb game for Grade 1 lesson 3 "How is your school life?"
It was made for my lower level students and purely focuses on "What is your favorite subject? My favorite subject is ___."

Grade 3 Lesson 2 Listen and Speak Part 2.
My lower level classes are really small, so I divide in pairs and they must practise the dialogue to spin the wheel. The pair with the most points wins.
My intermediate classes are too big for a points battle. So in pairs, they practice the dialogue. If they get it right, they choose a section on the wheel and if it lands on it, they get 2 stickers. (I've got sticker cards on the backs of their namecards for prizes at the end of semester.)
I don't know what to do for the higher level yet......

These are lessons for all three grades for the first lesson.
The focus of these lessons is to review the students' vocabulary. It's a very simple game, but the excitement and intensity of the lesson is pretty awesome.
The game is Jenga. The class is split into four teams. I rearranged the class so four groups are facing the center with a desk in the center. Each block has a Q or P. Q stands for Question and P stands for Pass. There are 35 Q blocks and 19 P blocks for a total of 54 blocks. For every Q block, they get a chance to answer a vocabulary question. If they get the question correct, their team gets 1 point. If they get the question wrong or pull a P block, then they don't get a chance for a point.
Each player of each team gets a number to set the order of who pulls a block. It's a great game to get every student involved and gives the student a chance to be a 'hero' or a 'dud'.
Like always, you can adjust the rules or gameplay to the likings of your style or class.

This is a 22 slide review Powerpoint for Grade 2 Lesson 2 - Our Friends from around the World. The students can either do a Golden Bell quiz with small whiteboards that they write on, or they can raise their hands

For those of you currently rocking Chapter 2 for Grade 2 about "Friends from around the World", here are three videos pertaining to that topic which I have used in various situations with absolutely resounding success.
It is REALLY easy to make up a plethora your own activities from these videos, but here are a couple of SUPER simple ideas if you really are struggling:
Animaniacs: Print blank maps of the world. Get them to write down as many countries in English in the general vicinity of where they should be. Play the video twice. The top kids with the most countries gets candy.
Where the Hell is Matt:
1) Write down as many countries as possible (duh)
2) Type up about 20 of the countries that he goes to. Print their flags too (small). Put the kids in groups. Get them to put the countries in order in which he visits them. Get them to match the flag to its right country.
"Where the Hell is Matt" (04:29):
"Animaniacs" (01:58):
"Move" by Rick Mereki (01:00):

This is my PPT for Grade 2, Chapter 2, Let's Communicate.
The video at the beginning is just to wake them up, introduce the theme and set the mood.
Then we launch into the textbook. They are REALLY bad at this. I explain what each question means and try to get them do to some brain storming about why one would do these things, but it generally futile. Then I give them some time to do it and fill in the answers, but MY HAT, it's horrendous. Then when we are done rocking that boat, I get them to orally give some answers and then show then some more possibilities from the PPT.
When that's over, I do the activity that I mentioned in an above post for the Animaniacs video: Print blank maps of the world. Get them to write down as many countries in English in the general vicinity of where they should be. Play the video twice. The top kids with the most countries gets candy.
Then at the end, there is another activity if you still have time. I divide the class into 8 teams. I write the numbers 1 - 8 on pieces of paper. Each team chooses a piece of paper. That number will correspond to the country they then have to "represent".
I give each team a little piece of paper with a few sentences to fill in about their country (the same for every team).
The team which fills in the answers the fastest wins candy. (I got this activity from another waegookin somewhere here whose name I have forgotten and therefore cannot give credit to)
I have attached the blank maps of the world (2 per page) and the little worksheet (several per page, which I cut up), as well as the PPT.

I made a 20 slide Powerpoint for Grade 3 - Lesson 2 Special Memories.
Students can fill in the blanks for sentences using "although"
This might be helpful for Build Up and Let's Communicate

I have new texts books... and they are pretty random... so all of this helps alot trying to figure out where to go with the lesson as sometimes sections are totally unrelated.

Grade 1 Lesson 3 Warm Up. This is a video of an English school. It uses really simple language and has subtitles. However.....the children are in fact, robot children.
