I found this online, and thought parts of it could be relevant to G1L10 Do You Like Music?  It deals with expressing likes and dislikes and expressing opinions.  Feel free to add, change, or edit as you see fit.

I only got to see my Grade 3 classes once since I started, so I had to cover lessons 8 and 9 in one class. Here it is now,  a bit late for this week , but I kept changing it as the week went by. It was created from stuff I found here so thanks to dapto1 and DevilMogun for the material from their ppts. There is some videos embedded into the ppt, so let me know if they are not working and I can post them up.

 :P :P :P :P  Enjoy the long weekend :P :P :P :P

I thought I would make it mostly a asking opinions focused lesson. I will play the dialogues as I go thorough the slides.  Th e co-t asked me to give everybody a chance to speak.  The pics will be shown and then the students will follow the dialogue.
I need help for Solo Adventure.
hope the attached ppt helps.

I had a problem downloading the original version off this site.   Does it download?  If it does either try right-clicking on it in your downloads folder and opening it from there or opening it with powerpoint open and choosing 'open file' from the downloads folder.  One of them worked for me.    Let me know if either of those options make sense or work.

I got it to download on another computer, maybe the school computer is blocking or something.  Could you tell me how to play it?  SOme of the other bomb games return to the number choice screen after a turn but this one did not.
Looks really good though, you say you got  a template somewhere?
Thanks,

@Ryan

The template came from a guy who lectured at the EPIK Orientation in October - http://waygook.org/index.php/topic,22083.msg160395.html#msg160395.

The links / rules are: click on a number to go to the question, click anywhere on the questions screen to get the answer, click again to get the 'score', click on the little sailor bottom left to go back to the number screen, click one of the boxes under the battleship to blast it, click again on the same box to un-blast it.    Answering the question correctly means a} one blast of another team's battleship, b) two blasts of two teams battleship c) a 'life raft' - un-blast your team's battleship.

I added the rule that if your team took six hits you still had to play but couldn't fire again until you had won a life raft and un-blasted one shot.

I might be a bit behind some of you now, but here are my latest lessons.  The Year 7 one was actually my demo class and went down well so even though I'm sure you've all past that chapter, I'm adding it on anyway.  Complete with lesson plans this time!  It seems I've saved my worksheets as docx but they are so simple and obvious that you should be able to make your own easily.

Acknowledgements to Jacob Boer as the designer of the original templates for the games I've adapted.

DevilMogun, I used that Shaolin Soccer lesson and it went down great, thanks a million for posting it!

Does anyone have any ideas for Grade 1 Lesson 10 "Do You Like Music" or Grade 3 Lesson 9 "Conversational Ball Games" (what a name for a chapter!).
I was able to adapt something for Do You Like Music, does anyone have any ideas for Conversational Ball Games? Really drawing a blank on it!

Oh, and the phrases it needs to teach are:
- I can’t stand

- Why do you think…

- I’m with you on that

Would appreciate any ideas, thanks!

I know right. I have my open class next week on Grade 1 Lesson 10 Speaking part all I have is a Musical trailer of both the US and Korean version of the Lion King Musical Video.  What ideas do you all have?

Hey Mojussa,

I don't know how closely you need to follow the book, but I found this music lesson somewhere on this site (I don't remember exactly where) and it worked really well in all of my classes.  I used Grooveshark to play the songs.  Hope it helps.

Hey thanks for that!  According to my coteacher though, very close.  But I may take your idea and tangent or expand it she's doing most of the work for the open class but of course I'm trying to contribute what I can.  I feel stressed that shes stressing haha.

Hi Devilmogun!  As alwaysg, thank you so much for posting the lessons.  I have a few questions for G3 Lesson 9...

1.  In the hearts game, what do you do when the break a heart picture comes up?

2. In the lesson plan there is a handout, could you post that handout if you have it?  If not, could you describe the handout briefly?

A million thanks!

Jeff

Hello all,

Maybe this is a bit early on in the planning stages, but does anybody have any Lesson 9- Grade 2 "Teamwork makes a difference" lesson plans or ideas together?
I have an open class in two weeks, (not parents, but the district education office) and I looking for some ideas.

Thanks,

Tom

Here is my lesson for G1 L10 'Do you like music?'. I made it very heavy on video and sound content, to make it more enjoyable for the students. The last time I had class with them, we had to cover a lot of material so I had promised them a fun class. I am also in the  process of making some sort of game so we can use it at the end of class. The are some many videos I had to compress them to make it fit.

I am also looking for some ideas for G2 L10. Have been racking my brain trying to come up with some stuff. Any one with any ideas?

Great work my friend.  I'll be going heavy on some lion king material soon enough for Lesson 10.  Damn my open class next week.

Hey.
This is what I have so far for Grade 2 Lesson 1. It might help to get you started. I definitely want to add more to it because I think it is lacking something, but I just don't know what to put in. If you could post up when you have something finished I would appreciated it.
