thanks! I will indeed take a look. Good idea about passing a straw, might make them speak a bit quicker, generally my girls are quite good in the speaking department, I'm just a little worried as the 'debate' went so wrong last year...

BTW are we the only ones who teach 3rd grade here? I see many lesson ideas for 1st and 2nd grade but hardly any for 3rd grade....

Here are my lesson for this week.

Grade 1 - Lesson 10 - Part 1 "Do you like music?" - Focusing on giving opinions about various things. Then I have some music videos from youtube ( I saved them as separate files on my PC and figured if anyone uses the same idea you can youtube your own choice of videos.

Grade 2 - Lesson 10 - Part 1 "Teamwork makes a difference" - Looks at "What do you want to be in the future?" I then finish the lesson with the Ohio College Marching Band Video (which is awesome), to show teamwork in action.
The penguin file is for grade 2. Just keep in it in the same folder.

Grade 3 - Lesson 10 "Solo Adventures" - Intro about adventure and adventurers, then moves on to "looking forward to~". I then have a little Spelling test at the end which I found from a previous post.

Next week is the finish class for 3rd grade before their finals so I'll be doing a review with them and I'll probably do some sort of Halloween Lesson for Grade 1 and 2.

Hey guys, this might be a little late for some of you but I made a review game for Grade 1 Lesson 10. It's a bomb game with K-pop bonus questions. I will attach the sound clips as well, you don't need them to play the game, but it adds to my general enjoyment to see the kids bopping around while we play the game, lol.

Is it just me, or are other teachers not able to use PPTX files, even after "fixing" their computers? My school computers are ancient and won't open them no matter what. Google Drive will not display them properly (with timing and such) and Open Office is super slow on these machines.

Please, if you can, save your documents in the 97-2003 version! (.ppt, .doc)

For the time being, you have to randomly search the pages of this thread for the grade and lesson you are teaching.
